Ceramic Glass Mat

Presentation of strength at hot sections

CGM is unique needle felt which can preserve resistance to heat as a characteristic of ceramic fiber. Furthermore, CGM also has tensile strength unique to glass fibers.


Feature
Ceramic fibers and glass fibers are blended. Due to such mixture, characteristics of both fibers are utilized well. Thus, such product can realize many merits.
Noncombustibility : Noncombustible material certified by Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (certification number:NM-8123)
Heat resistance : Mixing rate with ceramic fibers can allow use of the product at further hotter sections.
Sound absorbing and heat insulation performances : Tensile strength is stronger than that of ceramic blanket. And it is easy to conduct processing, such as cutting, punching, and gluing, etc. “Shots” unique for ceramic fibers have been removed. Thus, powders will not come off.
